About Iowa City

Sheltering a population of 60 000 humans and twenty millions squirrels, Iowa City is an Oak tree oasis in a desert of corn.

Climate

Summers are hot, sticky affairs with rapidly variable and possibly violent weather, heed local advice about tornado warnings and take shelter. When outside dress very comfortably, almost as though you were going to the beach. Indoors tend to be over air-conditioned, this is true of most businesses and particularly the Otolaryngology conference room, where we chill wine.

Parking

There isn't any.
